General meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 7:00 p.m., South Park
Community Center, Tacoma.
January Program
Judy Gilbert will give us a presentation on encaustics and will demonstrate her special technique using melted wax and collaged materials, show samples of her work, the tools she uses and talk about the history of this ancient media.
February Program

MIrca Hokkanen will demonstrate polymer printmaking and share with us a variety of methods that will work for transparencies. Mirca has exhibited throughout the United States and Finland and received her Masters in Fine Art at the University of Dallas.
March Program

Mixed media/collage artist Becky Frehse will bring examples of her works and demo some of her techniques. She is a member of the Grand Impromptu Gallery and has exhibited in many regional shows.
April Program

Patsy Su O'Connell is a experienced Sumi artist who will tell us about the history of Sumi painting and compare Japanese, Korean, and Chinese brush techniques. Patsy has exhibited throughout the area, China and Japan and is also the recipient of many awards.
May Program
May 11
Gig Harbor artist, Lynn Guenard, will visit us and demonstrate her collage and watercolor process. She has had her studio open to visitors for the Gig Harbor Studio Tour and will bring art pieces to share with our groups for the May program.
June Program

Our Second Annual Art Raffle was held at BSA (Boy Scouts of America) in Tacoma from 7-9pm.
