Notes from Joanne and Nola...

Thanks Cindi for the great demo on pan pastels. She gave wonderful examples and techniques. The planning is going on for a Fund raiser Art Sale at Pt. Ruston Market on May 11, 2024 between 11:00am to 5:00pm.

This will be the day before Mother’s Day, so hopefully we will have a good flow of traffic in the market. We will be able to set up the night before. We are hoping this will be a good opportunity to raise money for PGA to cover our expenses. No limit on size or quantity of items., will be a 50/50 split between artists and PGA. We are thinking small items like note cards, small pieces will sell.

There is was space for hanging and we will have three tables with racks for artwork. Remember photography and sculpting items are always welcome. We will need PGA members to take shifts, so a signup sheet will be out at the March meeting. A workshop in May is being planned. Rebecca Westeren will be our art leading the workshop. We will be using Universal Unitarian Church again. Thank you Patty. We have an Art Show at Artco planned for July. Nola and Cindi will be providing prospectus.

Entries July 2nd and pickup July 31….25% commission. No entry fee.
